I’ve known Dean Brady (NSA Head Coach) for 25 years. He’s a big friendly giant and always a pleasure to be around. Since we first met, I’ve watched him grow into becoming one of the world’s best surfers to now a dedicated family man and businessman. Dean’s knowledge of the ocean is incredible and his patience with people makes him one of the best people to teach surfing to all levels of ability.
Dean shares and ingrains the knowledge he has gained from three plus decades of surfing Noosa and abroad into aspiring surfers as I’ve witnessed him do for Noosa Boardriders Club on many occasions along with helping myself guide some of Rip Curl’s best junior surfers in Hawaii for many years at waves like Pipeline and Sunset Beach. I highly recommend the Noosa Surfing Academy; I know Dean and his team offer a high level of tuition that is not easy to find.
WEEKLY SQUADS AVAILABLE:
Tuesday afternoon 345pm - 515pm
Wednesday morning 6am – 730am
Thursday morning 6am – 730am
Friday morning 6am - 730am
Pricing Options: all prices include gst
10-week Deal (most popular): $385 including footage per squad.
5-week Deal: $275 including footage per squad.
Single Squad Lesson: $77 including footage.
Private Lesson: $385
GENERAL INFORMATION
Term by term: We operate all year-round including 10-week blocks during term 1, 2, 3 & 4. Surfers already in squad(s) will have first choice at continuing the following term. Limited positions available.
Location: Wherever the conditions are best. Exact location sent out via group text the night before every morning session or 1pm for 345pm classes.
What to bring: General surfing equipment. Water proof watch. Positive attitude.
Missed Sessions: Because our classes are capped to help maintain a high level of tuition at each session we do not offer credit for missed sessions however you’re welcome to gift your spot to another suitable NSA surfer (or sibling) who can return the favour when they’re away or sick.
Squad Etiquette: No snaking or dropping in. We show respect to each other and the general public. Think WSL priority rules in the surf.
Footage: Shared via group text once uploaded to our Vimeo account. Our account vimeo.com/noosasurfingacademy is set so you can directly download the footage to your phone or computer. Make sure you’re watching it at 1080HD before hitting the download button or screen recording. We encourage our surfers to watch over their footage and to focus on the tips we have given throughout each session. Feel free to repost our footage.
